What is Little House Kindergarten?
Little House Kindergarten is a free printable PDF full year kindergarten curriculum for home schools, childcare centers, and small schools around the world. This curriculum has been used by over 3,000 education centers and families in 130+ countries. The curriculum is based on educational standards set in the United States, and it is always our goal to have every subject exceed USA standards to give students the best educational start possible.
How do I access the curriculum?
The entire Little House Kindergarten curriculum can be downloaded in printable PDF form. The new Around the World Kindergarten curriculum can be completed entirely offline with optional bonus online supplement once it has been downloaded.

How much does the curriculum cost?
We believe that every child around the world deserves the best educational start possible no matter what their family’s financial resources are at any given time. For this reason we price all of our curriculum and resources on a “pay what you can” model. This is a trust based system. When you go to download the PDF curriculum packs you simply type in the price your family is able to pay at this time – even if that is $0. Due to the generosity of Little House Kindergarten families that use this curriculum we have been able to provide the entire curriculum free of charge since 2015. What happened to the old curriculum?
We know that many people are still using the retired original Little House Kindergarten curriculum and finding it useful. When designing it years ago we did not take into account that depending on outside resources for the bulk of the educational material in the curriculum could be unstable long term. Over the past five years since creating the original curriculum many of the links that we used are no longer available. Resources have been removed from websites and are difficult to find again. The curriculum is still mostly functional even with the occasional broken link, but we felt that designing a curriculum where the core of learning could be done offline was a better option for many families – so we started our new project Around the World Kindergarten!
You can still find all of the retired curriculum here if you are interesting in using it. We will not be updating the retired curriculum any longer, but we will consistently update the new Around the World Kindergarten.
Why did you make this curriculum?
The primary creator of this curriculum is a former classroom teacher turned online teacher and home school mom. When she was pregnant with one of her children she was put on bed rest and missing her kindergarten class that she had to leave behind she started compiling resources that could be used for home school parents and small education centers. That collection of resources became a full fledged curriculum.
Together with other homeschooling parents we have been able to make workbooks and schedules that turned the original compiled teaching resources into an easy to use full year home based education curriculum. This website is run by parents who are passionate about home based education for our own children and any other children around the world who can be helped by the use of this curriculum.
